Paint with Tangled Thread!

  All you need is :

1) Paint (Any)
2) Paint Brush, Bowl, Plate
3) Tangled Thread. If its impossible to find get a some thread and tangle them until it gets really messed up.
4) Paper.
5) Picture you want to draw + Pencil.

STEPS :

1) Get your picture you want to color. If its in your head sketch that very light with pencil on your paper. it doesn't matter if it goes wrong. The paint will cover the marks anyway. IF you aren't much of a good an artist draw something simple or look at a sample image.

I was drawing the big shark from the below picture. and the right image is the sketch i drew(though its not much clear)

2) Draw lines and seperate shaded areas or places you think should be shaded with pencil.

3) Use one color after one color. Pick the place you think should be colored first & get a big size of tangled pieces of thread.(You can cut it with a siccor if its hard to get a seperate one if you got a large amount of tangled thread)

4) Dip the thread onto the water slightly & put paint on it. Otherwise you can also use the Paint Brush & get some paint onto a plate and water it on plate itself & dip it in thread. Make sure the paints a lot watery.

5) Color with pressing the thread onto the paper where you want to color. Get or mix colors to get the color for shaded areas. Outline the image with light strokes to make it more visible as the image to seperate from background. Look at the image your drawing at and paint. Below are the steps i did to paint mine. Shade the light color on top to mix it with other.

6) Paint a background. Same way. If you're using trees its much easier. Just press it everywhere you want it to be randomly. Press it lightly where you want the tree to end so it'll give a perfect touch to the tree or whatever you're painting in the background.

You don't have to be good at painting or drawing to do this. You can finish this like after 30 mins if you're fast. Really, its very easy and the basic thing to learn in this is, mistakes can be colored on top with another layer. Also a mistake you make is like another stroke you just painted.

Since its thread when you press the paint on the image you drew, it even will go to the background. Don't worry about this and don't try correcting it because the beauty of painting with thread is making it differ from brush paintings & it looks way better when its done in thread.

This is what i ended up with!!
Try it now! Enjoy! xx (:
