The Finest Wire Organizer!

Ever found yourself struggling to manage all the cluttered wires on your desk? This is the best option ;) Make this awesome box so you can organize your wires for each device separately ;)
All you need is :
1) Shoe box of any size so you can manage your wires in...
2) Nail polish/Sticky Notes/Felt pens.. identify which wires set to which device.
3) Wrapping paper 1 sheet to cover the box.
4)Glue and siccors and a small knife.
Steps :
1) Start off with getting your box and identifying which part of the box you want the wires to come out from. Example like in the image above, you need to make squared cuts so you can put wires in it..I made the cuts onto 3 sides of the box so if  i got lots of wires, i can use those cuts. Now cut them as you wish with a knife..If you're really messy, try pencil drawing the cut and then cut with knife.

2) Get your wrapping paper of choice and cover the whole box including the cuts you made.

3) Take your knife and cut the cuts nicely..If you just push the knife from out even it'll cut properly..So don't be so conscious about it (:

4) That's it! So after that you get your wires and put it through the hole..and connect your device..If you want to make the devices and wires easy to identify, then apply some Nail Polish or paste a Sticky Note or draw a line or heart with different colored felt pens..
Like in this image, I'v colored the part just above the wires in Nail Polish to identify them. You can even get the top glue part of the Sticky Note & put it over your wire and then paste a tiny Cellotape on the Sticky Notes so it looks like a tag.. (:

Enjoy! xx

Make a DIY headband!

Easy at it may seem I've done it in the easiest way possible! Try it out!

All you need for this tutorial is :
1) Ribbon or any long material you choose to use as your head band.
2) A cord..(Choose a cord from the color of the headband or go for a common one, i went for a gold sorta creamish one)
3) A flower/Bow or whatever you think looks good on the head band..(You can even use beads..)

Steps :
1) Get the ribbon and sew two part of the corner like this,

2) Next get your cord and take two small pieces of it with match to your head round size. Then pull the two cords from each of the two sides of the ribbon we sew. Sew it onto the ribbon. The cord is put so that you can tie the ribbon at the back with the cord to hold the headband on your head...

3) Decorate your headband with your accessory! I just got this bow my mum had with her..but if you want you can add some beads in a row with glue or paste a small set of cute flowers..or even paint it with fabric paint according to a really cute design. If you're painting you can even write your name or something like that...
BE CREATIVE! (:
xx
Here's what i got at the end...

You can also do it this way...or you can even sew an elastic to the corners instead of cords...

'Dip' dye your hair & get pretty highlights in 3 different ways!

This is like really awesome! You should try this out because if you really wanted to get highlights and your parents just won't ;et you this is absoloutly an incredible DIY tutorial to do!

NOTE that these don't last much longer & with days it gets faded..

All you need for this is :
1) Acrylics of your own choice to color you hair
2) Long hair ( lol :P )
3) Aluminium Foil
4) Paint Brush (optional, this is if you think hands are messier)

How to start :
1) First take the Acrylic of your choice and apply on the part you want to get the highlights on. (You can choose a part of your hair or do one single strand like Avril Lavinge or around two or three strands in different colors taken from random parts of your hair)

2) If you're thinking of shading try applying the other color you want to mix it with keeping a little more space, and try shading it with the brush or fingers...

3) Get the Aluminium Foil and wrap the highlighted parts properly and tight. Just make sure you don't mess it when you're wrapping the Foil around you hair..and keep this for 35 munites if you want it to last atleast around 3-5 days.

4 Awesome Shoe Storage Tips!

Are you busy stucking your slippers inside cabinets and heels inside boxes and buckets to find a proper place to store so it won't get dirty for future use? Then you landed on the perfect place!

4 Awesome ways to store :

1) I'm sure all you guys have hanger your'll use to hang clothes right? Now use those as an opportunity to hold your shoes in comfortable storage and easy access. All you need to do is,
   | Get the hanger and Cut the sides of it like this,

 | Neatly curve the two sides into a nice curve so you know that when youu hang your shoes, it won't fall off.

 |Ends up like this!

 2) Get pipes to fit your shoes into! All you need to do for this is,

                 | Get pipes (old pipes if you got) and make sure the round circle of it is large enough to fit your heels/slipper/shoes and also get them out.
                 | Next Paste the pipes in a design or orderly manner, where you want your shoe storage to be.
                 | If you want or if the pipes are old looking, get some paint in any color you like and apply.

This is good for any storage, but since i'm talking about shoe storage i won't mention how others work, but i'm hoping you get the idea and be a little creative. (:

This is another picture i found, its storage for alcohol bottles but you can use this design(a mix of small pipes and big ones) as well. NOTE that the small pipes are only for a design not to store anything in it! Only store in larger pipes otherwise it will be hard to get your shoes out even though could fit them in!

3) Try using a hanger like this if you got any, I'm sure these come in shops or they also come free with laundries!

4) Get an older Ladder and color it to any colour you like and use it as shoe storage. You can have each step for something different..(One for Heels, One for shoes, e.t.c.)

Makeup Art!

I came through this type of art just wondering where to store my Eye shadow cases :D and then this idea struck me when i saw all the makeup i stored in the cabinet and i was like Whala! why not?! :D

Makeup Art is is an awesome way to paint and color, giving the canvas/wall a brighter & nicer look!

All you really need is any type of makeup, whether Eye Shadow, Eye Liner, Lipstick.. it doesn't matter as long as you got a design and know your shading capabilities, its all fine! :D

Try it out! Just randomly get a design. i got a heart and in the middle which says Love, but thats all that came to my mind and my finger kinda hurt after keeping and stressing my finger on the wall.. :P Anyway, feel free to try out any kind of designs or even words to write!

If you want you can use Eye Shadow Glitter to gie a sparkling look on the art...Or use Eye Liner of any color to outline what you want to show most...

TIPS

Its really awesome! Try doing this on walls or canvas, its much better than paper otherwise the if you're using lipstick the paper won't really absorb the lipstick and dry it self with oats or lipstick.

You can even use different type of fonts if you're really good at writing neatly and gorgeous. Otherwise you can also print a black and white abstract design and copy it on your canvas/wall..You can do this by cutting the internal part of the abstract and pasting it on your wall/canvas with a little tape so you can take it off after its done, and paint the part you cut!

This is a close view of what i did.

Its worth a try! (:

Identify your individual things easily!

Color your individual things so you know which is related to which thing to use!

All you need for this project is Nail Polish, since it stays longer than paint or anything else. You can do this for any other thing than keys, like for Wires, Clothes, Boxes, Stacks of Books/magazines/newspapers..anything!

If your doing on keys, make sure you only color the top part of the key otherwise some keys won't go in properly when colored at the end.

That's it! You can now easily access what you want with ease! (:

You can also try using the top gummy part of the stick it note to paste on wires(its better than coloring it because the top part of the stick it note actually pastes together and it would be much noticeable on wires. Also if you want to keep this safely a lot longer, then put a transparent celotape round on the stick it note flat. Now the stick it note won't tear or even get dust on it!

Shade your fingertips!

If you ever had problems in coloring your nails by yourself when you really need help but you just don't have anyone who's free to do that for you? Well, here's a great tip!

This process is easy and faster & it gives a better look on shading your fingertips!

All you need is :
1) Any nail polish color (bright preferably or dark,i think bright looks great!) & a color to mix it with(cream, white, yellow, light brown e.t.c)
OR
If you wish to do plain color, its fine, it would still give an embossed look! (:

2) Sponge.

How to do :
1) Take any color you want and apply a thick coat on your nail. If your applying shades, decide which side you want(vertically or horizontally) then apply the color on your nail.

2) Get the sponge and spunge on the nail polish so it would give an embossed effect. Make sure you spunge one color of the side and give a mix of the lighter color to give effect. The effect should come like this below,
(I did this on a bag to show)

That's all! It comes out really gorgeous. Try yours now! Its actually not that prominent and the picture quality sucked :( So the shading and embossed effect is hardly seen in photos! & it'd be better if you apply a nail coat on top so it'll last abit longer (:

Make your own Snow man!

Its great for a gift, and you can do it in a snowglobe(i just did with what i had)

What you need :
1) 3 balloons (any color)
2) Sand.
3) Normal Glue.
4) Cotton.
5) Glass bowl or jar or globe.
6) 2 beads for the eyes, permanent marker, little end piece of a carrot.
7) Plastic cup or Cover for the end of the glass or globe.
8) Powder

Steps to start off :

1) Get each balloon and fill them with sand for 3 different ball sizes. Then make a knot tight at the end so no sand will fall out

2) Cover the balloon with normal glue and paste cotton all over it.

3) Take each ball and paste one side of it to the other making a snowman.
4) Paste the 2 beads as the eyes, little end piece of a carrot as the nose, and draw a smiley mouth and two eyebrows in an innocent shape..If the beads don't paste with the glue; put some glue on the bead and put a little cotton over it and make sure you do the same to the spot where you want to paste and then paste. (it works! )
5) Decorate the snow man with a long red scarf  using a red cloth or from a red lace and tie it around the neck part(in between the first and second ball)
6) Get long less in width sticks from any tree/plant and fix two small pieces which looks like this, to the sides as the hands.

7) If you want to give the snow man a scenery paste a stick which would look like a tree just beside it. and paste a little cotton on the edges of the little branches like so it would look like snow.
(Paste it like i said before, then it'll surely fix! I know because it tried alota ways to get it done with normal glue!) :p

Snow mans done! next,

8) Get the glass or globe and paste the end with some cotton. What i did here was, since i took a glass and i wanted the other end to be closed, I pasted cotton to a plastic transparent cup and pasted the snow man also on it.and i made sure the cup fit into the glass and got stuck so it won't fall out.

9) Then get powder and turn the glass or globe outside down and pour a lot of it into the glass and shake the glass and turn it upside down again. This'll give it a snowy look!

10) Fix the cover or cup in my case into the glass so it'll end up like the first picture above i posted! (:

2) Hair Moose
3) Beads and any shiny buttons
4) Transparent Glass
5) Paint and paint brushes
6) A plate  to mix paint

How to do :

1) Take the glass and make a layer of cotton inside the glass at the bottom.

2) Choose any bright color of paint you like.

3) Take the plate and mix atleast two spoons of moose with less than a quatre of paint of the paint color you like. Note that even the little f paint mixes with the moose fast.

4) Put a layer of the first color and then repeat the steps from 2 to 4 until you glass is almost full.

5)When you come to the end of the glass, take a set of cotton and mix different colors of moose+paint on it randomly and place the set of cotton on the last layer of moose+paint you applied.Note, don't put a layer of cotton when you come to the end of the glass.

6) Take some bright paint tubes and nicely top a little of paint on the set of cotton layer.

7) Take your set of shiny beads and stones or buttons and make a topping on top of the color you put and mix them so the beads would get a mix of the milk shake ingredients.

That's it!

Amazing Love Tile Gift!

This is amazing for a gift for your valentine... I thought about it when I saw some extra tiles lying around my store room. I'll make it very simple since its not complicated at all to do. This is what I made. Read it & make your own..I'm just giving the basic steps (:

All you need is :
- A glue that'll fix together something really hard (possibly multibond?) & a pair of Siccors.
- A tile.
- A picture of a couple..(can be a photo or a printed picture)
- Wall Paint (any color you desire).
- And some awesome tiny accessories you can find.. with some colorful sticky notes or paper too. (:

Alright then the steps :
1) First take the tile. If you're not satisfied with the tile's interior, then get the wall paint you desire in any color and paint the tile from it. Since the tile I took was something really old and bit ugly i decided to color it with a more yellowish white look.
I made mine have more of a grungy look with the paint. This I did it with a fixed brush that hasn't been quite washed properly (something more like, with harsh edges)
2) Then get the picture and cut it to the size you want it to be... In my case I got a printed one from the internet. Then paste it on the tile with multibond where you want it to be. Leave a little space around the picture so it looks nicer. (:
You don't have to wait till the tile even dries, but I suggest if you're not careful, just wait till it dries...otherwise it'd get messed up.
3) Now get those colorful sticky notes or paper, and cut " I LOVE YOU" letters seperatly. Then paste those on the tile..I did mine under the picture.. You can have it wherever you like. (:
4) Get you're random awesome accessories and make them shine! (:
Possibly a heart? I got this heart pendant from a cousin and I used it for this.. Paste them with multibond, so you're sure that it won't fall apart. (:

If its a very small tile like mine, I suggest you go really simple with it... (: Anyway its all about creativity, I just gave an idea I had in my head. Try it now & modify it & enjoy! (:

Make your own movie box!

This is such a cool gift for a friend or more likely a kid would love it! Otherwise you can just try it on your own if you like..but I made it for fun, 'cz I love crafts! hehe (: You can use this to make with your favorite movies!

So to get started I was staring at those CD covers that used to come before the DVD's ruled? I was actually wondering what I should do with those covers because it even takes up my space!

What you need :

- 6 CD covers of your faviourite movies

- Siccors, Glue (multibond?)

How to get started :

1) Take the covers and take the CD out. Then as you see, a white strap opens the CD right? All you have to do is, take each CD cover and break those parts of each side of the covers.

2) Next take four covers and glue the white parts which are on the sides of the covers, onto each cover's inside. (The purpose of glueing this to the inside is, that it would look neater)

REMEMBER : Make sure you paste these covers to the right side down. (As in, the pictures of the covers should be pasted  horizontally correct, so you can see them properly as proper images when you're turning the box)

3) You get a four walled box. Now take another cover you want to put down, and paste the four white spaces to the INSIDE of the four walled box. So then the cover image should appear nicely at the under of the box.

4) Next, take your last cover, and paste like you did before for the under one. This is very annoying because sometimes it might come out. But please be careful, it could break down..You have to work with it gently. (:

That's it!
Of you want a different idea so the box would open the lid... Try redoing the last step with a modification.

4) You can paste one part of the white area to one of the four walls.. and keep. The other opened white parts could act as the closing lid of the box. Those white parts should be pressed inside, if you want to close it. (:

This is again just an idea... From ideas, you can gain more ideas to modify mine & create something new.

So please try mine!! & do try something new! (:

Easy accessing with magnetic holders!

This is such an awesome holder to have! & it doesn't require much time either. :)
Basics. I'll teach you the basics. You do your best doing yours! & please be kind enough to feedback if you really did so :) Perhaps Stumble me? (Stumble Upon.com)

Okay! So..

Here's what you need -
-Magnets. (Atleast the medium size)
-Any of your eye shadow cases
-Metal or steel board. (Even an old one would be fine!)- I just got a lid of an old biscuit tin box!
- Gorgeous piece of Cloth. (If you're not satisfied with the metal or steel board's appearance)
------If you are getting cloth, Make sure you get a pair of Siccors too. :)
-Blue tack & strong thread to hang the metal board. (I suggest more like Nylon thread)
-Glue (Multibond/Superglue if you're using cloth for this)

Alrighty! This is how you start with it! :

If you are satisfied with the cloth board, please skip step (1)

1) If you are not satisfied with board you got, get the cloth, cut a piece measuring the size you'd want...and sew a cover. Please pick a cloth that is very thin, so the magnet can hold onto the board.

You can make a zipped cover if you prefer or just make a cover that cannot be undone. If you're more like me and love change all the time! Then I think you should go with the zipper. :P

If you don't know how to sew the cover, let me give you the basic steps on how to do this. But if you do know you can skip this step.

||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||| Get the cloth you measured and cut. I'm hoping the board you got is not that thick?

Well if it is, you have to cut & sew two side strips depending on the size of the thickness. Then turn them onto the wrong side & sew each strap onto each covers side. Only the sides are to be sewed! Next, sew one opening of the cover just like that & whallaa..!! You get a cover!

If its not thick, Turn them both to the wrong side & sew each other sides. Next sew one opening just like that. There you get a cover that way!

Now get a zip to the length of the cover and sew the wrong side of the zip onto the right side of the cloth.
There after you do both sides if that opening, you're done! Now continue. :)

2) Now get the magnet & glue one side to the eye shadow case back. It'll look more like this,

3) Now put that metal board into the cover. If you didn't make a cover, or either way.. Get the blue tack & glue the Nylon thread to the back of the metal board. Make sure you stick the Blue Tack really really reallyy tight! Otherwise it'll just beak and fall! :/

And since you're pasting it on metal, it's much harder. If you're pasting it on the cloth, you could use Multibond or Superglue or something stronger to hold on cloth.

There you go! You're done!!

Now, take your eye shadow cases & just keep it atleast 1cm away, & it'll automatically paste! Because its magnetic!! & just hang it on your wall.. Find a height you can reach to.. :P

Basically whenever you're in a hurry or something, you can just apply and go! Do this for several cases and It'd be much easier for you to choose too because its hung on your room wall.

Not only eye shadow cases, you can hang up anything you like when they are magnetic! :D So go hang up all kindsa stuff! Try it now!

Enjoy!
