Paint with Tangled Thread!

  All you need is :

1) Paint (Any)
2) Paint Brush, Bowl, Plate
3) Tangled Thread. If its impossible to find get a some thread and tangle them until it gets really messed up.
4) Paper.
5) Picture you want to draw + Pencil.

STEPS :

1) Get your picture you want to color. If its in your head sketch that very light with pencil on your paper. it doesn't matter if it goes wrong. The paint will cover the marks anyway. IF you aren't much of a good an artist draw something simple or look at a sample image.

I was drawing the big shark from the below picture. and the right image is the sketch i drew(though its not much clear)

2) Draw lines and seperate shaded areas or places you think should be shaded with pencil.

3) Use one color after one color. Pick the place you think should be colored first & get a big size of tangled pieces of thread.(You can cut it with a siccor if its hard to get a seperate one if you got a large amount of tangled thread)

4) Dip the thread onto the water slightly & put paint on it. Otherwise you can also use the Paint Brush & get some paint onto a plate and water it on plate itself & dip it in thread. Make sure the paints a lot watery.

5) Color with pressing the thread onto the paper where you want to color. Get or mix colors to get the color for shaded areas. Outline the image with light strokes to make it more visible as the image to seperate from background. Look at the image your drawing at and paint. Below are the steps i did to paint mine. Shade the light color on top to mix it with other.

6) Paint a background. Same way. If you're using trees its much easier. Just press it everywhere you want it to be randomly. Press it lightly where you want the tree to end so it'll give a perfect touch to the tree or whatever you're painting in the background.

You don't have to be good at painting or drawing to do this. You can finish this like after 30 mins if you're fast. Really, its very easy and the basic thing to learn in this is, mistakes can be colored on top with another layer. Also a mistake you make is like another stroke you just painted.

Since its thread when you press the paint on the image you drew, it even will go to the background. Don't worry about this and don't try correcting it because the beauty of painting with thread is making it differ from brush paintings & it looks way better when its done in thread.

This is what i ended up with!!
Try it now! Enjoy! xx (:

2 Creative things to do with pen boxes!

NOTE :: I'm making Maximum use of the boxes so you don't have to save any or discard. (: Just be Creative & find matching things if you don't have the exact things done in this tutorial.
----------------------------------------------------

1) A STAR!

All You Need is :
1) Pen Boxes
2) Normal Glue
3) Sharp pen or Knife to make a hole
4) A Metal Wire to hang the Star on wall..

How to do :

1) Take each box & get the Bottom part of it. In this tutorial i'm using the bottom part for the star. Only in the next tutorial i'l be using the other half of the box. Below are the Pen Boxes i'v used.. Just for you to get a clear understanding of what i'v used in here.,

2) Take each and fit them to make a triangle..I'v created a collage of the corners of my triangle. Your corner should look like this..& make sure you keep each corner this way (Otherwise it would be uneven)

& Make another triangle exactly like that.

3) Make a hole at the edge of one triangle with a Knife or Pen. & Get the Metal Wire and screw it into the hole. Do this by turning the wire around from inside. and sticking it tight to a corner so the wire wont come out.

4) Then get one triangle and paste it on the other triangle to make it look like a star! Paste it with normal glue and yes it'll paste like miracles :P But make sure you don't touch every 5 seconds.

5) Hang it! (:

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
2 ) AN ORNAMENT!

All you need :
1) The extra pen boxes left from the earlier tutorial above.
2) A transparent glass.
3) Multibond or something that''ll paste glass.
4) A Box to fit into the size of what we make. I got a it out of a wedding invitation box. Be creative & find out what you can use too. (:
5) Sand like around half a tin?
6) Paint, Acrylics or Glass Paint. (I used Glass Paint)
7) Bowl to mix in, Paint Brush.

STEPS :

1) Fix each of the leftover pen boxes and make a box like we did in the above tutorial.  To the left are the Pen Boxes i got. To the right is he box we're making. Fix 3 sides & before finishing the left one go to step 2.

2) Now get the box and put it inside and close it with the last pen box. My box was green & i got it from a wedding invitation box :P To the right is the invitation box(I uploaded so you can get an idea what i got). To the left is what i used for my tutorial out of the whole box.

The corner should fit in like this,

This is what i got after doing it... The pic to the left is the front view & the one at the right is the back view.. (The invitation box actualy had a nice back to it) ;)

3) Get sand. Pour some sand onto the box. If you prefer you can take out the box and do this and put it back in again at the end of the tutorial. Make one layer of sand. Keep space on top for one more layer.

4) Seperate any amount of sand and color each with a different color. Your sand mixture should come like this,

5) Now Place the sand you colored on a corner of the box. I'm doing a zebra like design on it with some outlines in a dark color. Choose your own design and place your colors the way you want to make your design.

Since mine was like zebra strips in various colors i place mine in a zigzag shape. After i did otehrs too the same way, at the end i mixed around two to three colors & made a darker color almost brown, and outlined.
This is what i got,

6) Now place the box inside the Pen box square you made. If you did with that box you don't need to do anything.
7) Then after, paste the glass with Multibond on the pen boxes. IF you have an exact matched size of glass you can paste it on the inner side of the Pen boxes; so when you look into it, you see the sand design a bit further down from the glass.

That's it!! You can use this for a hall or whatever.
Now you get the first picture i posted at the start of the tutorial. Make your version!
Enjoy! xx

Customize your PC Cover with Nail Polish!

How would you like to customize your laptop in a totally different unique way? This is how i did mine..

So to start off,
All you need is :

1) Nail Polish.. Make sure you get colors that can show on your lap cover.. Possibly bright colors..

2) Glitter glue.. (NOT glitter dust 'cz if you use those you got to use gum and its really annoying -,-) If you can try buying Glitter Glue thats same colors with the nail polish you're using, it gives better  effect.

3) A laptop? :P
4) Cute accessories like from a necklace or whatever. I got a heart, it was a pendant..
5) Multibond or something that really pastes if you got accessories.
6) Nail Polish Remover if anything goes wrong..
7) Paint Brush with two different sizes so it's easier to shade..

STEPS :
1) To start off make sure you know your design.. i thought of something like swirls which i'm best at. I Googled some ideas from the search tubes images section. And you don't have to do the exact same picture. Just get the idea so you know where to place the swirls and add some other cute easy stuff to that like hearts or stars..

2) Secondly, if you're not sure what to paint don't paint. Because after you paint it's going to be messy to take it off with Nail Polish Remover.. I didn't need to remove so i was safe. But you need to be creative even if it messes up there's always a way to make it look like something else.

So get your colors and starts drawing.. if you're an artist you can even draw people/things/buildings with details!

OH and make sure you leave some space around too.. its not nice to look at something which doesn't have space in it to breathe. Nail Polish dries fast so paint on it a little more times and shade it with the paint brush.

3) After you paint, get your Glitter Glues and just apply on the Nail Polish Design.. just squeeze it, but make sure after you put it you flatten the Glitter Glue otherwise it'll take hours to dry. Shade the Glitte Glue too so it would sparkle.

4) Mine had 'Acer' written on it, and i didn't want to cover the originality of it although i didn't like the name there.. so i got a Heart Pendant.. the Pendant actually has silver stones on it. So i pasted that with Multibond. Customize your laptop with any accessories you chose!

Be creative! Here's some other angled picture i got,

I've been using this laptop for around 8 months now, and the color hasn't faded away NOR has the paint been ripped off. So it's awesome! (: Try it!

Enjoy! xx

Make a Tank Top out of your T-Shirts! NO SEW!

I had this tutorial in my head for a really long time and i couldnt post it..but here's it..

All you need :
1) Any random T's of your faviourite (Stretchy)
2)Siccors
3) Pen/pencil if you're not used to cutting randomly
4) Tape if you're not sure to measure your neckline

Steps :
1) First fold your T in half properly and get your siccors and cut just below the sewed line of the sleeves. If you're not sure that it'd get messup while you cut, mark the curve just below..you do not want the sewed line in this..

2) Next fold the T again, and make a mark of how long you want the neck line to be... you can do this by measuring up with a tape..OR you can also just keep your index finger on the end of your neck and the pinky finger on where you want the neckline to end ( if your fingers are long enough to take the right measure hehe :P ) anyway you can do that somehow :D

3) After you measure compare the size horizontly with the T thats folded in half, and mark a slight mark with your pencil/pen.

4) Next mark a curve (make sure you don't get too curvy 'cuz we're cutting the sewed line of the T and the T's pretty stretchy, so it might be really big if you cut it so big thinking its the size or start small..

And then cut that curve. You can unfold and wear it and see if that's the size you wanted.

5) Now fold your T again and cut the end sewed line off.. If you want this you can just leave this step..
Though if you're doing this step all you got to do is, cut that line in a small tiny shape.. little curve at the end...

Since your T's folded, cut straight from the middle and when you're getting to the last end part (just 1 inch away) Make a slight curve.. (not too curvy)

6) You're done with cutting. Now get the sleeves you've cut ( your T) and hold the end lines of what you've cut and stretch the whole circle bit by bit.. don't stretch it too much.. Otherwise it'll get really big..
The stretched lines must come like this,

Stretch the neckline as well as the bottom line we cut the same way. You're done!

Cool designs and Method to paint your plain Glass/Mug!

This is really awesome if your very creative and there's those empty glasses which look very pale and you want to give a little boost to it. This is a very common DIY project but in this tutorial i'm going to show you some funky designs that you could use to do this very easily and make it glow than ever before!

All you need is :
1) Glass/Mug (Whatever you choose) [I did mine on Glass but its the same thing that happens]

2) Permanent Marker if you're doing on Mug or Glass Paint Outliner on Glass.

STEP :

1) Start off with making your design. If you're creative you can think of a way to draw you're design..but for starters make sure you don't mess this up if you're looking for a creative design on it.. If you aren't good at drawing first hand i suggest you take a paper and draw the sketch of your design first.

Here are some designs i got for you,

Pick your design and put it into various places or make it like a loop on the top and bottom of the glass like i did..

If it makes it any easier for you, you can draw your design on the glass with the Permanent Marker and then outline it with the Glass Outliner. Reason for painting the Glass with the Glass Outliner is because it stays forever than Permanent Marker staying on Mugs.. If possible try using the Outliner on the mug aswell..'cuz it stays longer then too..
2) If you want you can make a design to the bottom of the glass too so since the glass is transparent, the design could be seen from inside the glass as if you did the design inside..

 Be Creative! Enjoy! xx

Nail Art!

One of the most easiest things to do, but i'll anyway tell you how to..This way, you can do any type of small design you want on your nails..In this the inside of the heart is not colored.you can't really see it properly but if you do with some other color it'll show ;) Works like a stamp.

What you need :
1) Any Normal Paper
2) Design (Possibly a small one like stars or hearts)
3)Siccors and normal glue
4)Nail Polish of your favorite colors!
5) Dark Nail Polish Color (Possibly Black? )
6) Really really thin Paint brush ( Number 0 if you can find? or if your neat enough go with the Nail Polish applier)

Steps :

1) Start off with getting you design cut.. if you want you can like have two or three stars of different sized or something, just be creative!

2)Paste it with a little normal transparent glue on where you want your design to be..

3) Apply Nail Polish over that paper, and wait for it to dry for around 5-10 seconds and then take the paper of your design out slowly with your nails making sure you don't land any finger marks on the nail polish..

4) Outline the design with a dark Nail Polish color or black..(I did black so it would be more prominent) You can do this using a paint brush or with the Nail Polish applier..If your neat enough use applier otherwise use the paint brush to outline..

TIP : Color with different bright colors each nail, it look cool and funky ;)

That's it! Your all done :D
Enjoy! xx
